You know nothing of Orwell. He did, in fact embrace socialism and volunteered for the Spanish Civil War. There, he observed the behavior of Soviet advisors and what "socialism" really meant. He was wounded in the neck and returned to the UK, becoming an ardent opponant of both communism and fascism.
He was an admirer of Churchill and his political thoughts, as Churchill was an admirer of Orwell, even though they met only once.
There are some great biographies on Orwell and one that parallels Churchill and Orwell. You should read them and perhaps you would question your marxist beliefs.
Orwell was diametrically opposed to YOUR nationalist, fascist and authoritarian beliefs. And yet you are attempting to cite him in your favor!
And if Churchill were around today, you would be calling him a marxist as well.
This stuff is illiberal as hell and also takes away from the ACTUAL, truly liberal points held by Republicans and conservatives.
Stop ignoring the fact that the English language possesses probably the biggest vocabulary of any language on earth. At least make an attempt to accurately hone in on the ones you’d like to impugne.
If you want to write a hit piece on leftists, at least be truthful. Don’t put actual liberals into the mix as being something we aren’t.
...
4. You are born with your sexuality (explanation for gays), yet transexuals are "natural" (they aren't born that way)....
BTW, this is a great example of how you have no idea what you're talking about. Liberals are in favor of transsexual rights BECAUSE they understand they were born that way. You have no idea what liberals even believe!
That OP is a classic propaganda piece. Not a democrat/liberal, just want to answer some of this annoying rhetoric:
1) Didn’t see any serious liberal demanding to abolish the police. At most some protestors suggested to defund the police. That suggestion didn’t get traction since it’s stupid and irresponsible.
2) Everyone has to pay taxes....etc etc. - That’s another baloney. From what I understand the demand is to increase the tax levels on those from the top 10%, as well as corporations. Only liberal leaders do’t have to pay? Nonsense again. They advocate that nobody with low income will pay any tax, liberal or conservative.
3) Walls don’t work? It depends on the context. A wall thousands of miles long, will sooner or later be tunneled below and they’ll continue to pass into US territory. It is common practice even today, with engineered tunnels that can facilitate trucks. The greatest wall of all times - the wall of China didn’t prevent the invasion. On top of that it costs billions (and let’s not get into the preposterous argument “Mexico will pay for it”. No child above first grade believes that). However against an incited mob in DC, a wall, even concrete barricades can provide effective protection. At least until more reinforcements are called in.
3) Sexual harassment tolerated when democrats do it? Ask former senator Al Franken (for a stupid joke) or Anthony Weiner (who following serious accusations went to jail).

While we all chuckled in disbelief when reading "1984" for the first time, little did we know that such lunacy could be employed as a matter of course by liberals in the US.
Liberal "Double-think":
1. global warming is making it cold
2. Walls don't work, which is why the capitol is now walled in
3. The police should be abolished, but liberal groups ANTIFA and BLM demand police support.

6. Free speech is great, but censorship due to political correctness is better.
7. Integration of schools must be done, yet liberal leaders send thier children to private schools to avoid integration.
8. We must stop large groups for Covid, but liberal riots and rallies don't spread Covid.
9. Wearing masks must be done by all, but illegals crossing the border need to wear masks.

20-30 years ago, it would have been inconceivable that the US would actually embrace the lunacy that has defined the left, but here it is. Lunacy such as that above cannot be reconciled, as those consumed with emotion and reverence to liberalism do not repsond to logic or facts, such that free people cannot co-exist with individuals who embrace blind allegience to lunacy and who have discarded reason.
Just to comment on a few of your bullits:
2) The walls are there because all the faithful like Fearless Leader can't accept that he lost fair and square and they decided to hold an insurection.
3) There hasn't been defunding of the police what has been proposed is allocating some of the budget to additional mental health/social services staff to work with the police. Much better use of the money for many than having a full blown SWAT team where its not needed.
6) Free speech is not impeded by the government but yelling fire in a crowded theater is still illegal/
11) The poster boy for sexual harassment has left the building or should I say the misogynistic lech so
don't act like he was any kind of saint.
16) No riots are good because they overshadow the legitimate protesters and their message.
And 20-30 years ago " it would have been inconceivable that the US would actually embrace the lunacy that has defined the" right. As " those consumed with emotion and reverence" to a wannabe king have demonstrated the they do not "respond to logic or facts" and free people cannot co-exist with individuals who embrace blind allegience to lunacy and who have discarded reason.
In other words it can't always be your way and this my way or the highway mentality does nothing but keep people divided.
11. Sexual harassment is never tolerated, but sexual harassment is tolerated when dems do it.
I'd say you were just being provocative with your list but people seem to believe this one. Countless times IRL I've had to scream "no one should be doing it!" in an attempt to explain the problem to people who don't get it. People covering for sex offenders depending on who they are is still a problem. I would think at the very least someone would understand that it's a problem but we're not there yet as evidenced by your projection.

Well done, 100% correct observation. It had to be said
You would be wrong. In fact, I have read it several times since high school. As you are a leftist, you should read it again and view it not as a political instruction manual to embrace, but as a warning of totalitarian behavior, which liberalism has embraced.
Churchill loved "1984" and had also read it several times.
A common characteristic of those on the Left is to make assumptions about people that they don't even know.
