Joe Biden won a narrow victory where it mattered: 20k votes in Wisconsin, 9k votes in Arizona, 13k votes in Georgia, 80k in Pennsylvania, etc. And that's after mass voting by mail (won't be a thing in 2024) and a media engaged in all out war against Donald Trump.
I seriously don't get Democrats. If anything, this makes it easier for Trump to run/retain support in 2024. He can point and say "I've been acquitted."
Couldn't an opponent point and say this? "I haven't been impeached twice, missing it by a narrow margin with bipartisan support to impeach me. That never happened to me!"

Yes, an opponent can say that. But I feel it would have been much more potent of an argument (and without a counter argument of being able to note acquittal) of merely attacking the rioters and tying them to Donald Trump (fair or not), instead of relying on political show trials.
I mean, even after the first impeachment, Trump only narrowly lost the 2020 election where it mattered: 20k votes in Wisconsin, 9k votes in Arizona, 13k votes in Georgia, 80k in Pennsylvania, etc., and I argue that impeachment was a non factor for voters in 2020. Impeachment with an acquittal isn't the kind of weapon that Democrats think it is.

Hating Trump is the only thing liberals could ever agree on.
They won’t be able to agree on anything else in the next 4 years.
Well, it's good to see another chapter of the witch hunt put to rest. However, I'm sure the witch hunt in general is not over.
And another thing is that I don't see ANY reason that Trump would want to run for anything ever again. He and his family have been put through hell for over four years now. I don't see how he could think that it would be worth it to get back in that position. Of course, that is just me. But, honestly, how did he even survive what the demoncrats have put him through?
