I expect them to rise to levels near what they were about a year ago before the virus hit. Why would they not? That would be a positive sign of a strong recovery.

If I recall, Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity said back in 2006 that Presidents have nothing to do with gas prices.

After a significant decrease in demand world wide because of the pandemic, demand started to increase, worldwide, starting in November.

As we come out of lockdowns, we are demanding more gas and that impacts price.

We could lockdown again and you could get your low prices if you want...but I'm sure that's not the strategy you are calling for.

The talk of a President can impact prices. Biden has made it clear he is declaring war on oil.

And be glad we aren't hitting July 2018 gas prices. Crude oil prices soared back then.
