Inflation will hammer the Democrat voter base the most. With a Biden/Harris Admin, Democrats will be blamed.

The same demographics have been holding true in the 2012, 2016, and now the 2020 election. Republicans, on average, earn more money than Democrats.

Quote:
"An individual’s likelihood of being a Democrat decreases with every additional dollar he or she earns. Democrats have a huge advantage (63 percent) with voters earning less than $15,000 per year. This advantage carries forward for individuals earning up to $50,000 per year, and then turns in the Republicans’ favor — with just 36 percent of individuals earning more than $200,000 per year supporting Democrats."
The Economic Demographics of Democrats

Easy confirmation of that fact: Democrats are 2.2 times more likely to receive Food Stamps than Republicans.

Not the idea that the American dream is attainable by anyone who applies themselves, which used to be embraced by both parties, but somehow got abandoned by the right.
Righ now the biggest problem the economy faces are all the dollars being released , not like the 2008 giveaways , and the rising National Debt which just makes our creditors more powerful.

“ denial and fear “ are opinions of attitude , unlike the facts I noted above.

We are not getting killed by the inside. The majority of America lives in a reactive atmosphere. The biggest problems are created by those that unleash policies and control wealth. America today is in a place that makes the Robber Barons of the past look like poor folk.

Many people who control policy and wealth have been selling out America for some time, and they will now have put their foot on the gas based on the results of the Presidential election.

What makes anyone so sure Trump will even be alive in 2024? He's not the healthiest 74 yr old now. Also, he could be criminally convicted of 1 or more crimes. Not to mention the civil suits awaiting him as well.

Those hoping for or expecting him to run and win in 2024 are getting ahead of themselves.

The date of your article was May 30, 2020. So, well before Trump was out of office, and more than 3 years into his term, food prices were going up. And you want to blame that on the democrats???

Let’s clarify by using the correct terms for Impeachment. The correct term is “ conviction” , which appears in the Constitution. It is irrelevant , except for media purposes , to consider the words “ guilty “ “ admit “ , “ considered” , “ excuses “ or whatever terms are thrown in for dramatic affect.

Those words do not appear in the Constitution relating to Impeachment. Anything said by a Senator is irrelevant. According to the Constitution, only their decision to convict or not is relevant.

That’s true. Anyone expecting any candidate to “ coast” to a win in the current political environment is delusional.

Regardless of what candidates are running, the republican party will use, and much to it's advantage, an old phrase used by Ronald Reagan.

When the country, led by the democrats for four years, is reeling from high unemployment, high prices on everything we buy, China dominating just about every facet of this country, from technology to commerce, Reagan's words will penetrate into the republican cause, to bring America back on track.
"Ask yourself, are you better off now, than you were four years ago?"
I think that will resonate with many voters, not only in the mid terms, but for the 2024 election as well.
What? Led by Democrats for four years? You mean the last four years? The last four years where McConnell blocked everything coming from the Dems?

No one is better off now than four years ago, except for the well-off people who became even wealthier while others suffered.

Unfortunately the Republican party is dead in the water, at least as far as national elections. I do not say that with glee. I voted Republican many times. But Trump's bizarre behavior post election was the final dose of poison.

All the subsequent inflation will be blamed on Dems. Energy prices are already skyrocketing because of Biden's Green New Deal EOs. That harms low-income households, overwhelmingly Democrat voters, the most.

Or, we can also truthfully state 'Now that Trump has been voted guilty by a majority of his jurors' and also that the 'trial' was a sham given that jurors sworn to be impartial plotted strategy with the defendant's defense team. The charges weren't false, the way they were ajudicated was.
