If it makes folks feel any better my Oncologist cant get patients vaccinated even though they're about to start treatment and be at insane levels of risk for this. Teachers got moved ahead of everyone in order to open the schools.
Dad was pushed to get the vaccine on the false premise "you can go anywhere and not wear a mask".
He took the vaccine on 1/16/2020 unaware that he may have had an early UTI brewing. Despite one doctor's visit and two ER visits to treat the UTI, he spent four days in the hospital, 24 hours of which we did know if he would survive.
Nearly a month later, Dad gets his CATH out tomorrow. She sounded great today on the phone. He is ready to put this behind him.
But he's really pi$$ed about two things:
1) Each and every treating physician confirmed that the vaccine exacerbated his condition, and..
There is no evidence the vaccine causes UTIs or makes them worse. But there is evidence an untreated UTI can get worse. Getting the vaccine at the same time an an untreated UTI was probably coincidence.

Teachers got moved ahead of everyone because their union makes massive campaign contributions to politicians, almost exclusively Democrats. Payback time.
I have had an appointment to get my vaccine for the past 3 weeks and still must wait until the 24th of March. I am over 70. Today I learned that here in charlotte that teachers (much younger than 40) are being given appointments weeks AHEAD OF ME... Why were we told that those 65 and older would be getting the vaccine first????????????? Why are people much younger getting to cut in line????????
Because they want to open schools. It’s a vital step towards returning to normalcy. Every child at home keeps their parents from attending work. You (and I) can wait a few more days.

Nonsense. Schools need to get opened. Without vaccines that won’t happen. Every student at home, keeps the adults from returning to work. The delay for people like us is just a couple of weeks.
Huh? Unions won’t let open schools even after teachers have been vaccinated? Don’t think so.
