Romney's term in the Senate lasts until 2024 so he is not going anywhere in the near future. Trump may have revenge on his mind, but Romney is only one of many targets on the twice impeached former president's bad list. Interestingly Biden got the highest vote % in Utah for any Democratic presidential nominee since 1964, so Trump and his allies may not have quite as much leverage there as they think.
Utah isn't a knuckle-dragging Tea Party state. The vast majority of them are moral & fiscal conservatives who never cared much for Trump in the first place.
