How does it feel knowing that it will soon be a decade that Trump has been the focus of the world?
Uh- a half a decade is not a decade!
It hasn't been quite 5 years, either; Trump never announced his candidacy until June 15, 2015, and he didn't command the media for many months afterward.

The truth is he's only been gone from D.C. for a month. After 4+ years of a steady, unending, ever-present barrage of noise, anger, and chaos spread through Twitter, U-Tube, Facebook, and the other social media. And he used traditional press conferences, routine announcements and presentations from the White House as well.

And when out of the White House, he used his rallies, and any opportunity that presented itself abroad to keep everything amped up to 10. If he found a way to turn it up to 11, he used it.

Naturally, he became the center of attention! He worked at becoming the center 24 hours a day, non-stop, for his entire time in office, and then, even after he was defeated.

It must have been exhausting even for him. But no matter- everyone else is even more exhausted now. He was like having an addicted child who would not stop yelling day and night, every day and every night.

Normal people can only deal with that level by growing accustomed to the noise, so when it stops suddenly, the silence seems to be strange. That's what's happening now. We are all re-acquainting ourselves with what 'normal' actually sounds like!

Come back in 6 actual months and see if he's still the center of attention. Don't fudge the time like you did here.

I just read a blurb yesterday that claimed that Trump, now he's been forcibly cut off from his addiction, is beginning to learn how exhausting and time-consuming it was for him.

Without the pressure he felt to answer back to every single word against him because he cannot answer back, Trump is actually beginning to relax and enjoy himself again.
He can sleep in when he wants now that his addiction isn't ruling his life any more. He's been ill ever since he caught Covid, so now he can kick back and recover. Life in Florida is wonderful for him now.

And now, he is beginning to think that being the elder statesman who's behind the scene, not in front of it constantly, is the way for him to go in the future. He may never use Twitter again, even if he can.

Never forget Trump has real fear of addiction. He was hit very hard by his brother Freddie's death from alcoholism. If he has realized Twitter became addictive to him, he won't want to go back to using it again.

Also never forget Trump is now in his mid-70s. That is the age when a man begins to think more about how to pass things on than to continue to run them.

It's the age when a man starts thinking about death; old friends and acquaintances suddenly start dying, and most men being to weigh their own mortality. Are they healthy and robust? If so, there's another 20 years ahead. If not, Old Man Death can be lurking around, watching and eating a cracker while he waits to come collect you.
Trump is the last man of his generation alive in his family now that his brother Robert is gone. That's weighing on him.

And have you seen any pics of Trump lately? He looks like warmed over death.

Two things we are sure to hear about over the next 4 years — Trump’s pending prison term and how bad he’s breaking down. People typically only bestow honors like this upon politically powerful people.

Get a load of the pic of Trump in the link I posted. You tell me if that is a healthy person. Plenty of other pics too floating around the internet showing a haggard looking Trump. He'll put on a show for a while trying to con people into believing he'll be able to run in 2024 but he's a broken man who'll be lucky to be alive in four years.

Perhaps. But is it just "the worst of the republican party"? Polls have shown that up to 75% of Republicans think the election was fraudulent.

How does it feel? Well, horrifying. In New York we already knew he was a pushy, incompetent publicity hound, but we didn't expect millions of others to be so gullible.

You act as if Trump is still making the news a lot because he was a great president.

I've got news for you: He is still making the news a lot because he was an awful president.

Let me expand on what I just wrote above ...

Let us paraphrase ...

'How does it feel knowing that Hitler has been and continues to be the center of attention for what is now 75 years and counting? More words have been written against Hitler than any living person in history ...'

Or lest I be accused of playing the Hitler card, maybe ...

'How does it feel knowing that Stalin has been and continues to be the center of attention for what is now 65 years and counting? More words have been written against Stalin than any living person in history ...'

If people are still talking a lot about some world leader long after they are gone, it is either because they were great, or because they were awful. In Trump's case it is NOT because he was great.

He wasted 4 years accomplishing a tax cut that any Republican could have passed and a partial border wall. All while driving debt through the roof and giving more bailouts than Berry Obama.

They were right.

Looks the same as Joe Biden, and you will too, when you hit that age.
