Joe has no worries yet. We all know that too, and we all expect he'll have a few pretty soon.
What is unknown is if a sitting President is to be protected forever for crimes he committed against our nation while in office.
We have always protected our Presidents from prosecution when he commits a crime abroad. That protection is done in the name of national defense.
But until now, we have chosen to ignore crimes an ex-President has committed here at home while serving as our chief law enforcement officer.
That is the topic of this thread, and the subject of the conversation.
A good one it is, too. For the very first time, we've seen how far a President is willing to go to try to get what he wants.
Even when what he wants is not legal, and what he wants is something no other President has ever publicly wanted before.
Does this mean that we can try Barack Obama for first degree murder?? The man knowingly and intentionally extrajudicially assassinated US citizens. It doesn't get much worse than murder in the first degree.

Since Trump was never exonerated in the Mueller probe I'm sure someone will want to revisit what Mueller would have charged Trump with if he had the liberty to do so.
