I'm a conservative and I think America is one of the worst countries in the world. I really hate democracy.

Conservatives who love America don't understand what America is. They don't understand how the world works. They don't know what is going on in other countries(or America's role in it).

They are just children playing with their toys, unwilling or incapable of seeing the future until it is already in their face. They're constantly fighting with lefties instead of asking what is it about our system that is creating them. They are losing the war of attrition because they're only hacking at the branches of evil instead of striking the root.

They are losing, they will lose, they've already lost. Because the thing that they are most proud of, is what is destroying them. They must cast the ring into the fire. Destroy it.

Average conservative below.

What programs are you talking about that were exclusively for black Americans?

You really think there are not Black American exclusive programs out there?
They exist. Maybe part of the problem is people just are not aware or can't find them.

The USITC just takes you to a list of organizations aimed at African Americans, which AREN'T government funded, but are independent non profit organizations. NAACP, National Urban League for example.

The Federal Grants page takes you to programs that aren't exclusive for African Americans, like Head Start, Vision 21.

Why does it need to be gov't funded? Is that the roadblock?
There is assistance to be had but it doesn't count if it is not funded by Tax dollars? It doesn't count if it is not Only for Black Americans?
Sorry,..but that sounds cold and resentful.

So it's not about help, it's making people pay?

If it helps I will remove that one sentence from my post, and allow the rest to be addressed.

To my knowledge there aren't any federally funded programs exclusively for Black Americans. They may say "minority" or "under privileged" or "disenfranchised communities" which are vague terms meant to leave those programs open to everybody.

My point is that there are assocations that help black americans. What's wrong with that? Especially those which are nongovernmental. What's wrong with the NAACP? Urban League? It happens to be a page of the US ITC which sends you to a page which are resources that aren't government funded, that may be of interest to some of its staffers, some of whom are black - surprise surprise.

Usually the bellyaching comes with taxpayer dollars helping African Americans in and that's been historical. Look at how New Deal programs excluded or restricted black participation, such as Social Security. Or how many Southern states would block black veterans from enjoying the GI Bill benefits. Or redlining for FHA loans.

Heck, LBJ sold the Great Society programs to help poor rural white folks. Otherwise it never would have passed.

Even today there is lots of resentment at African Americans and social programs that they are eligible for.

Your post is Exhibit 1.

I was curious and googled “federal programs for black people,” and the following came up right at the top. If you’d like, I can search for more.

I don't know where you think I thought any of those were bad. Please show me.

OK, if you feel that way, great. Point is, that it is rare if any programs that are government funded that serve African Americans exclusively. If there are, they are private.
