Leftists don't like free speech. They succeeded in getting Imus off the air back in 2007, but the times were different back then, and he managed to get back on the air and do another 10 plus years on the radio. More recently they got Bill O'Reilly off the air, and tried really hard to do the same with Hannity.

Rush was a thorn in their side for decades, and for that reason alone I'll miss him being around, even though I rarely even tuned in.

Rush had some real misinformation gems:

"There is no conclusive proof that nicotine is addictive. And the same thing with cigarettes causing emphysema, lung cancer or heart disease."

Way to go, Rush. Stuff America was told about by the Surgeon General decades ago and Rush just saying what he wants because that's what his listeners want to hear.

And he did this over and over again with statements against LBGT, gay marriage, African Americans, black NFL players, schools serving lunch, people who did NOT support the Iraq War, women, sexual harassment, contraception, global warming, etc etc etc

On the "RIP thread" - apparently we are not allowed to say anything derogatory about Rush Limbaugh. I hope that CD institutes that same policy regardless of the political leanings of the future deceased here.

I don't doubt that people will scramble to pick up the megaphone and continue Rush's misinformation parade.

He was a seller of hate for profit. Nothing more.

The left are the MASTERS of hatred, and here in this thread, they project it all onto Rush.

PATHETIC, as usual.

RIP Maha Rushie.

But the scary thing is that Democrats have been so brainwashed that they compare someone dead one day to the biggest terrorist of our lifetimes - AND THESE PEOPLE VOTE.

I thought it was funny, he wasn’t calling regular women femme nazis, but the radical ones.
