I'm pretty sure that's not all they are not aware of. I wouldn't be surprised if these same people didn't know what happened on 9/11 and many other things. And it's not all millenials and Gen Z either.
Never have we lived in a time where information was so readily available at our fingertips within seconds, yet that doesn't seem to have helped ignorance.
Almost two-thirds of millennials and Gen Zers don't know that 6 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust, and almost half can't name a single concentration camp, an alarming new survey on Holocaust knowledge has found.
The survey demonstrated wide gaps in younger American's knowledge of the genocide while also showing a concerning 15% of millennials and Gen Zers thought holding neo-Nazi views was acceptable.
And when the Boomers and Gen Xers are gone, history will likely repeat by the hands of subverted demoralized zombies! You can see the hatred and stupidity building up today.

This story isn't new. Awhile back I went and read the actual survey, and in fact, everyone from every age group knew a LOT about the Holocaust. This is a very twisted review of the survey results.
It takes awhile to find it, but if you do, I think you'd agree. This article and the findings are very misleading about the knowledge the American public has on the Holocaust.

As horrific as the Holocaust was I think it's unfair to call Millennials as "ignorant" on the subject.
Why should they know about a subject regarding Jews who are technically are very small population in the US? How about other Genocides that have happened like in Rwanda or the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia?
Aren't they just as important?
