Bottom Line: AOC, like many Democrats, actually CARE about the average American and follow through with actual work and effort to improve our lives. Republicans only care about the coddling the upper 1% and fight tooth and nail against the interests of the middle and lower classes. That's been proven time and time again.

I don't understand.

AOC is the US government. She shuffles trillions from one government program to another.
Her priority is Green Deal - fighting warming in the USA. I don't understand how cooler weather improves live of the average American?

bebop - You seem like an angry person. Try this: When you have joyful news to share, do so without using it as an opportunity to spew hateful rhetoric. You'll be surprised how much better you feel about yourself.
Exactly this. Although that is quite the challenge you proposed for that individual...
I'd also like to add, not everything needs to be political.

Just like Trump hid in the White House after ordering the attack on the Capitol Cruz deserted Texas.

It must be a republican thing.

Keep in mind that Texas insisted on having its own electrical grid because they didn't want the feds telling them what to do. Now that that republican notion went up in smoke they are begging the feds for relief.

Desertion and begging...the republican thing to do!

She is a political outsider. She doesn't come from money (like Trump did). She knows what its like to struggle, and to actually work to get by (unlike many politicians). People may disagree with her policies, but they are mostly driven (in my opinion) by the fact her history is grounded in reality of having actually worked for a living. She knows when people just need help (like those suffering in Texas do right now).

There are a lot of big-hearted people across the country who want to help Texans recover from this devastating and deadly winter storm.
In fact, a spur-of-the-moment relief effort launched Thursday evening on Twitter has already raised more than $2 million.
U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez organized the fundraiser to benefit five Texas relief organizations that are providing food, water and shelter for Texans in need.

So you agree then. What's the price? votes?

Be careful of those stones and glass houses.

IIRC, POTUS Trump does fund raising that almost looks like fraud when one reads the fine print.
