Ghislaine Maxwell appeared to admit Jeffrey Epstein was taping his famous friends, including Donald Trump and the Clintons, during a 2016 meeting with former CBS producer Ira Rosen, a new book reveals.
The British socialite, who is accused of procuring underage girls for the billionaire pedophile, reportedly told Rosen she didn't 'know where' such recordings were after the Emmy-winning producer asked her to hand over footage of Trump.
Maxwell, who supported Hillary at the time, refused to help, saying: 'If you get the tapes on Trump you have to do [Bill] Clinton'.
I'd be careful of believing all of that.
He surely had tapes on many people, and I'd love for them to come to light. And she may well know who is on those tapes.
But she is also doing everything she can to get out of jail and stay out, and I believe she is pretty short on moral capital and darned used to lying. the one person who could definitively prove things one way or the other is dead.
At this point, my entirely unsupported opinion is that any tapes that exist were/are entrusted to some third party, and could possibly have been destroyed at Epstein's death. Damn.
