Rush was controversial but so is Howard Stern.
Poc today isn’t an excuse. Rush was always a douche no matter the metric used or time period.

Reich has never caused anyone I know personally to feel so bad. It is personal with me.
And I have not seen the history of reich’s tax returns and don’t know the extent of his generosity. Maybe you can provide detail As you seem to know so much.
Yeah, and do you also think that Cuomo is a vile human being? He didn’t merely “cause pain,” but caused DEATH - thousands of them - and then tried to cover it up. Or do you reserve your venom for conservatives? (Don’t answer....I already know.)

Liberals pick and choose who they forgive based on the letter, D or R, associated with them.

$100,000 is not a “whopping donation” for someone worth $600M. Most people I know give far more than that percentage.

0.166% of his net worth.

Wow, what a philanthropist.

Probably wanted it kept anonymous because he knew people would laugh at what a cheapskate he was.

The Bidens, Gores, and Clinton’s were notorious cheapskates too. The same year that Gore gave his daughter a $75,000 wedding (probably 20 years ago, so equivalent to $150,000 today), he gave a whopping $300 in total.

Also, Rush gave a lot more to many charities. He helped fund a summer camp for poor kids. (I’d have to look up how much he gave.) I believe it was over $1 million....I’d have to check.

How about this one? He gave $2 million to the Tunnel to Towers project.

Ok. Doesn’t make it any better and certainly does not make Rush or any others great people.

No - you gave an example of how one liberal you know may be a hypocrite. See the difference?

I have a friend who is a Republican and lives in Tampa, FL. We don't see each other often (we live in CT), but have known each other since our college days. She does not believe in tipping at all - never has and I believe never will. When we have gone out for dinner when we visit each other, we just know that we will always leave the tip. Do I think that all Republican's are cheap and don't tip. No.

He gave MILLIONS to many charities. He certainly didn’t declare donated underwear, like the Clintons. (Whoever thinks to donate used underwear anyway? When mine get stretched out around the elastic, I just toss them. I don’t try to use them to reduce my tax bill. Geez.)

The difference is that studies have shown the Republicans are more generous than Democrats. I used an example to show how extremely cheap some of them can be.
