Honestly this headline is pathetic. Cruz left Texas with his family when there was nothing for him to do but freeze with his own money.

Cuomo slaughter 5,000 people with malicious intent. How are they comparable?

Well, the source says everything. A democrat caused thousands of deaths vs a republican that took a vacation. Obviously these are equal.

Should we care about Cruz's behavior? Only if he decides to run for President again. Otherwise it's Texas' concern.

The Liberal mind works in strange ways. I have given up trying to figure them out because I cannot discard my common sense.

One guy sends the sick to nursing homes resulting in deaths and then tries to cover up the death toll so he can play "who does mom like best" on TV with his brother while pitching his book and hoisting an Emmy for lying about the Covid everyday on TV.

The other guy goes on a trip and GASP OH THE OUTRAGE.. HE LEFT HIS DOG AT HOME! (with a caretaker) BUT OH THAT POOR DOG! SOMEONE CALL THE ASPCA.

One guy showed bad judgement but then again what was he going to do, go out back and split some firewood for the state? While the other guy Lied and People Died.

The Liberal mind can justify just about anything.

At best, Senator Cruz was remarkably tone-deaf. If he was indeed escorting his children on vacation with the intent to return the following day, perhaps an itinerary filed with his staff prior to the trip made public after his return would diffuse the Twits and MSM.

At worst, he is a typical, self-serving politician who enjoys privilege above those that he purportedly serves.

I expect the truth falls somewhere in the middle.

However, Governor Andrew Cuomo's policies directly resulted in the needless deaths of those of us most in need. His incompetence and reckless disregard does not excuse his actions.

If we wouldn't expect better reporting from the National Enquirer, why would we expect it from Jason Blair's employer?

Is it any wonder the media is held in such low regard? They're basically the propaganda wing of the Democrat Party. Everything they say is calculated to help The Party.

But that's the lunacy from the left. Cruz's offensive was 1000 times worse to them, worthy of having your career destroyed forever, but Cuomo killing seniors don't seem to bother them.

Democrats will almost never criticize one of their own not matter how serious the offense. The only time I seen it was in the case of John Edwards. It took a guy cheating on his wife and then lying about it for them to finally go against one of their flock. Sickening to think this scumbag was almost our Vice President. That's how low their moral bar is.
