Even the artsy-bohemian types of 90s hipsters I met at my school did not call for eliminating private owernship of wealth-generating properties (what Marxism was exclusively about). So that right there tells me our socio-cultural changes aren't anything about Marxism. If you want to see actual Marxism, check out Bob Avakian's Revolutionary Communist Party of the United States. That's where you'll find the REAL Marxism. I can assure you that that's fringe even by "hipster" standards.
