What does that have to do with taking from Peter to give to Paul, thereby stripping Peter of the fruits of his own labor and giving Paul what he has not earned?

Then there should be no federal taxes. Federal spending should all be funded by only borrowing and printing. Stop taking OPM (other people's money).

The stimulus package of 1.9 trillion is viewed favorably by over 70% of ALL Americans.
The tax breaks package of 2 trillion was viewed favorably by less than 30% of ALL Americans.

Is it a cultural thing? For example...

Percent of US adults in each group who have ever received Food Stamps

Republicans: 10%
Democrats: 22%
Independents: 17%

2012 survey. Old news, since then we’ve had the opioid crisis, manufacturing shut downs and Covid all of which affected middle America. I’ll bet it is different in 2021.

Don't worry, Biden and the Dems are working on repealing the tax cuts. What that means? The rich get their formerly unlimited SALT deduction back. I'll just use the Bidens as an example (CNBC spilled the beans )...

Quote:
"In 2018, the Bidens paid a total of $361,966 in state and local taxes, but they were only able to deduct $10,000 of it."
https://www.cnbc.com/2019/07/16/3-ta...x-returns.html

$351,966 ($361,966 - $10,000) of additional income taxed at their marginal rate of 37% cost the Bidens an extra $130,227.42 in 2018 in Federal Income Tax that they won't have to pay anymore when Biden and the Dems repeal the Trump tax "cuts" and reinstate the formerly unlimited SALT tax deduction for the rich.

That's why Biden is in such a hurry to have the Trump tax cuts repealed. He and his rich Congressional Dem buddies and rich Dem donors get a HUGE tax break if they're repealed. Biden himself gets a $130,000+ tax break.

Biden and the Dems are NOT working in anyone's best interest, other than the rich. Anyone is a fool if they believe otherwise. The Dems are depending on their base being too stupid to realize they're being duped. Looks like that's working.

Biden and the Dems... making the rich even more rich. You're welcome, Americans. /sarc

All you have to do is look at the 2020 election results by income level to see that the data is still very likely the same.

November 2020 Election, by Income Level:
Under $50,000: +15 Dem
Over $100,000: +12 Republican

Source: National Election Pool/Edison Research. Surveys include early and absentee voters.

Which group is more likely to be on Food Stamps?

Unless you are saying none of those systems should exist? Heaven forbid you should actually pay for these things you benefit from. ...or do you think you should get them for free?
And do the non-working crackheads and wokes in Gram's basement NOT get military or police protection? Did they NOT get educated in the school system? Have they NOT traveled on roads within the US?

Oh... they have? Then why didn't THEY have to pay for those services?

Uh, I didn't want either stimulus check. Lots of my friends didn't either.

But I pay taxes, not apologizing for taking them.
