Wow nice way to miss the big main point, and instead try to correct me on some years. The point is it still dropped significantly BEFORE any vaccine was issued, which was after WWII by the way. And the reason for the drop remains the same - indoor plumbing and sanitation.

First of all, there are risk associated with all medical procedures, supplements, shots etc. I had my knee replaced february 2020. there were risk involved with that and yes there are botch replacement surgeries.
Most adults I know are aware of the risk with vaccines.
Does it make sense to "trust" these vaccines? It's not about Trusting, it's about reading the science and then weighing your options.
Most of the "science" you read about these vaccines is just drug industry press releases. Being scientific means being skeptical and questioning authorities, but we aren't getting that chance. Any information that questions the safety of mRNA vaccines is censored as "dangerous misinformation."
