Let’s be honest here. We are not going to do **** to Saudi because we are thirsty for their cheap oil. If we break up our decades-relationship with SA, then the Russian and Chinese would be more than glad to jump in.

It’s a love-hate relationship

Saudi Arabia isn’t the problem in the region. In fact, they are a big part of the solution for peace.

As far as what happened to the journalist, I don’t care in the least. He knew exactly what he was doing.

It’s funny, leftist journalists won’t tell the truth when it hurts their agenda, so in my opinion, they aren’t really journalists. He was nothing more than a propaganda instrument for Saudi’s enemies. He was basically a combatant.

I know many people don’t agree because they think the media is fair and balanced because CNN and the Wash Post say it is so.

ah, so we're finally realizing everything is political.

let's just admit we don't give a **** about muslims or human rights anywhere except supposed violations in china because they're a strategic enemy.

us being "allies" with SA, which doesn't exactly have a squeaky clean record of human rights, is evidence of that.

This is yet another campaign pledge that Joe is bumbling.

When you think about it Trump had the perfect excuse for not fulfilling his pledges because he was a DC outsider that didn't know how slow politics grinds along but Joe? Joe has been in politics near 50 years so he should know better.

Trump, despite unprecedented push back from the Dems still managed to do what he said he was going to do. It seems that Biden lied and never had any intention of fulfilling anything.

Biden is in it for Biden and he doesn't care about us.

1) who is "we"? You are a Chinese national. I am an American. You and I are not a "we", comrade Xi.

2) SA has issues with human right violation, but they are nowhere near the level of CCP. It's not even close.

So who gets sanctioned? Putin personally or the underlings involved with carry out his dirty work?

The answer. The underlings. Leaders never get sanctioned personally. You know how that works. It's always the little guy that takes the fall. The big guns skate every single time.

Trump's talk on being tough on Russia? Well yes, tough sanctions were put on Russia's elite, but praise and denial of our Intelligence? Putin gets a big win there.

Biden has a delicate tight rope to walk concerning Saudi Arabia. They are an ally, but not an ideal one to say the least. Putting a pause on the sale of arms, which are the most advanced and most classified to Saudi Arabia is a big deal. Ending support for the war in Yemen is a big deal.

So yes, Biden is considering consequences. Sanctions against leaders? It's just not done, unless you're someone like Kim Jung-un. He's not needed strategically. Sanctions were levied against him for humanitarian abuses by Obama.
