Having lived in Asia I can attest to the accuracy of this. Japan being one of the worst. Gai Jin is not a term applied only to White people. Ask any Filipino about Japanese racism. Apparently, there are only 300,000 of them with most living in Oklahoma. The right to use the brand name "Cherokee" could be fought out in court by Fiat Chrysler.



At any rate, the name "Cherokee" is a white man's way of calling the tribe. The natives have their own language and they call themselves something like "chuh-log-gee".

The Coca Cola brand (name and logo) is valued at US$84 billion. There are more than one company with the Cherokee brand name. Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. is going to have a fight with the palefaces all over again.

Perhaps we should ask chiefy to drop his paleface name.
