Obviously Pelosi, Schumer, and their PR firm (the media) used the fictional story of the Officer Sicknick murder (which they knew to be false) to their own political advantage. To the point of insisting on a highly unusual ‘lying in honor’. Honoring the deceased by falsely claiming he was murdered by Trump supporters?
That is particularly repulsive -not to mention ghoulish- even within the usual potpourri of lefty propaganda.

To be fair, it is true that the Capitol rioters didn’t kill anyone and there was very very little damage (beyond windows), no looting, and no arson. So it is was very different from other mobs and riots we saw this past summer.
But the riot did injure some cops and involved breaking into a building currently closed to the public (as a result of Covid). That has been condemned by by folks on both sides of the aisle.
Over 140 cops were injured that day. They suffered concussions and loss of fingers. Several were hospitalized. In all probability Sicknick would be alive if not for the violent insurrectionists.

There's no doubt that the lies the Left has told about January 6 are much worse than what actually happened on that day. And the Left's promised responses -- illegal censorship and persecution -- take the Left's perfidy even further.
