How is this guys injury more important than everything else going on in this world?
What? Clearly, they DO create wealth, and you have no idea what he invests in. But I know this, HIS celebrity status brings money into the community he plays in. People pay money for hotel rooms, restaurants serve people, gardeners and landscape people maintain golf courses...etc. Sure, he's not curing COVID, but he's contributing as much as you are, I dare say.
And the reason it's newsworthy is because, in the past, he got in trouble for drinking and driving, so there's speculation about what happened on a seemingly safe stretch of road.
Tiger is news because Tiger is loved by many all over the globe. The accident was horrific and many people are praying for his recovery.
If you don't feel the same, fine. But I don't understand why you need to complain about it. Did your parents never teach you to keep the negative comments to yourself when another human is suffering?.
