Yeah I found it quite funny how the car had 3 "suspected murderers" in it yet, the police had no problem running right up to it, opening the doors, and dragging them out and beating them. I know if I pull over 3 "suspected murderes" no way would I run right up on the car with no weapon drawn. I'm glad this was caught on video from the beginning (though in some cases, not even that will help serve justice).
They captured a suspect. So they most likely obtained information from this suspect that led them those three suspects. The cops were probably making a statement. This is what happens to you if you kill one of us. Police officers are supposed to be professionals. It doesn't matter what an individual has done. Their job is to apprehend him and let the court decides the punishment. Beating suspects is not a conduct of professionals. But then again, when we rely on people with very little education to police us, we can expect this kind of behavior from time to time.
Absolutely did, and it was a great place to live and work (born and raised in North Philly, guess you could also call me OldFromNorthPhilly).
