What was the GOP solution? We made a deal that Iran agreed with, Trump broke the deal, and made America look untrustworthy. Hurting our credibility.
So far, all I see from the GOP is fear mongering over Iran.
You can't look untrustworthy dealing with Iran, you have to be tough with them and that is what Trump did. You didn't hear a peep out of them for 4 yrs and since Biden has been in office they're starting to act up again because they are now getting the funding. The only way to stop them is to withhold funding. Honestly, if you think we can negotiate with these people you are part of the problem. These people negotiate with both hands behind their back and fingers crossed. You people just don't get it.
That's their money. Probably better than the Trump approach where we're always itching to have a war with them. That would be fun...

Exactly. On one hand, the are opposed to sanctions to terrorist-sponsoring Iran because “they hurt innocent people,” yet they cheer on sanctions against Israel via support of the BDS movement.
Only among Democrats do they support hurting an ally and helping an enemy.

After reading all of the posts here, the liberal mindset baffles me. How in God's name do you think we can negotiate with a country that threatened to nuke Israel and destroy the United States? Where does that thought process come from? The only way to deal with them is to hold the upper hand and keep them thinking they will be annihilated if they try to harm anyone. It is the only thing they understand.
