The suspect is described to be in his 30s, about 200 pounds, and standing 5 feet and 5 inches.
Weird. Wouldn't it be easier to find this person if they also added her description of what the guy's face looked like, or other identifying features, like skin color?
Height, weight, and age is way too vague to catch the person. It could be anyone in their 30s with roughly that build.
Plus, the title said she was spit on. The article says the guy "spit in her direction", whatever that is supposed to mean.
To steal from Clint Eastwood, "Don't p*ss down my back and tell me it's raining."
Politicians in the US have often done this to minority groups on a host of topics with frankly Blacks being one of the most mistreated. Mayors have repeatedly lied and made empty promises about resources to improve schooling, combat gangs or a host of other initiatives and then used community leaders in bed with them to placate those that they shafted.
I'm curious if the asian community in places like NY, LA, San Fran keep getting the run-around and told this is Trump or White Supremacy, if they're going to accept that it's *raining* or if they're going to do something about it.
By technical definition absolutely. It's when you get to social constructs, especially where people are working an angle or politics is when they get lumped with whites which is maybe a cleaner way of saying it.
It's probably more pronounced if you just reflect upon their minority status especially with regards to things like school enrollments and professorships...or employee numbers at tech companies.

I agree.
That poster seems like a smart enough guy/girl so I was surprised they said that.
I also didn't really think about the Progressives 2021 part which eludes to the political angle which is probably what they meant.
For all intent and purposes they may as well be white, some would say.
That's right, elite liberal colleges discriminate against them.
Why? Asians may not be as creative as whites but they are extremely driven and smart.
