What cities and local economies did Trump order shut down?

Probably shouldn’t be talking about blood on anyone’s hands when a Democrat who won an Emmy for killing thousands is being investigated for cooking the books, btw.

Biden likely will not go down in history as a great president. But the option was a person who will be viewed by future generations as the worst president in American history. So let's hope for better days in 2024.

Gallup Poll - Biden Approval Feb 22, 2021

Quote:
  • 67% approve of his COVID-19 response, 31% disapprove
  • Biden's overall job approval rating is 56%; 40% disapprove
  • 54% approve of his handling of the economy and 56% of foreign affairs
Biden's current approval rating for his handling of the coronavirus includes 95% of Democrats, 66% of independents and 34% of Republicans

Approval of Biden's overall job performance and his handling of the economy are lower than Barack Obama's scores, roughly on par with those of George W. Bush, and better than Trump's and Bill Clinton's at about the same points in their presidencies.

Biden's rating for handling foreign affairs is higher than those of Trump and Bush, and similar to those of Obama and Clinton.

Gas price at gas station across the street from me before Joe Biden took office: $2.19 per gallon.
Gas price at the same gas station today: $2.75 per gallon. That's a pretty significant increase in just one month.

The Stock Market (Dow Jones) closed at $31,188 the day Joe Biden took office.
The Stock Market (Dow Jones) closed at $31,537 yesterday. Probably too early to tell there, but no massive change yet. The Dow is one of those things that will require more time before we can see any trends, so we'll have to wait and see on that one.

417,350 in the USA had died of COVID-19 when Biden took office. The current death toll is 516,403 which means that about 100K have died under Biden's watch in just one month. By the standards he applied to Donald Trump, he effectively murdered all 100K of them and is on pace to out-murder Trump by a lot. At the very least, he's doing terrible right now and has yet to bring anything new/helpful to the table. Everything under Biden is stuff we already had under Trump. And as a high risk case, I am personally no closer to getting vaccinated than I would have been under Donald Trump.

Unemployment was at 6.3% and dropping rapidly when Biden took office. The US Bureau of Labor Statistics hasn't reported on February yet, so we don't know where things are for that. The Labor Participation Rate will also need a look once enough time has passed to have meaningful data there.

Joe Biden said, "We are a Democracy. You can't do things by Executive Order unless your a dictator. We're a Democracy. We need consensus." So how is Joe doing at not being a dictator?? Well, he's issued 57 Executive Order and Actions and counting in just over a month. If he continues at this pace, he'll be second only to FDR for total EO's. Considering that it took FDR four terms in office and he oversaw World War II, FDR's total of 3,721 at least makes some sense. There is no doubt that Joe Biden's pace of EO's is unprecedented. Joe Biden is issuing EO's at a rate that we've never seen before in our history. At his current pace, Biden will issue 2,736 (57 x 12 months in a year x 4 years = 2,736) executive orders in his first four years. If it was possible for him to serve 3 full terms like FDR, he'd be on pace to issue 8,208 EO's. By his own words, he's the most dictatorial and undemocratic US President in history. The overwhelmingly high likelihood that he leaves office before finishing his first term is the only thing that might make it look a bit less blatant.

China has been empowered and emboldened since Biden took office. Human trafficking is back in business again. The kids in cages has surged massively in numbers since Biden took office. We're back on the warmongering path in the Middle East and the Military Industrial Complex couldn't be happier.

Black Lives Matter and Antifa have continue to wreak havoc. If you voted for Joe for a "return to normal" you're certainly not getting it. Our political discourse is as hostile or more so since Biden became president. Giant corporations continue to abuse the rest of us without consequence.

Think Joe is doing awesome? By all means, post your opinions and back them up with evidence. Just bear in mind that people having good feels isn't evidence of anything.
Bien is a President, his predecessor wasn't. Biden is doing a great job!

What a balanced poll! 95% Democrats....

I notice everyone who is saying Biden is doing "a great job" cannot give one example of what they feel he is doing that is so great. Just not being Trump, I suppose.

Biden is simply not Trump. That's good enough for leftists. Even they're not really expecting him to accomplish anything other that ushering in Kamala as president.
Fuel prices will only go up when you have a commander in chief who is controlled by people who hate the energy sector. Very odd statement. The energy industry loves high prices

Biden is simply not Trump. You got that right!

About a C but waiting for the media to gush over him as our savior who stopped Covid this summer. I am predicting a sharp decline in cases in the first half of the year due to herd immunity due to recovered cases intercepting with widespread vaccine availability to anyone who wants it by May. Biden will get 100 percent of the credit even if he has to resign for health reasons this summer.

Unlike seemingly everyone on earth, I do not look at the world through a liberal/conservative lens. So hypothetically, either of those candidates could get my vote. Candidates fall out of favor with me when they meander into conspiracy theories. On the other end of the spectrum, I won't go for a woke candidate either.

We know who Biden is. He has been around for scores and decades. He is a liar, a plagiarizer ( why he dropped out of a previous Presidential race), uses US money to threaten and bribe (on video out of his own mouth), caused many to receive harsher sentences especially in the black community, has shades of racism over the years (his own VP accused him of it remember).

It is not just policies but the anticipation of policies based on rhetoric. We are already seeing the impact of Biden's war on oil with much higher prices at the pump.
