I understand why he and others are leaving. I can no longer call myself one, either. Too much crazy happened in January. Not even my conservative church supported it. I joined the American Solidarity Party.

Next up, Mitt Romney's stunning admission that he didn't vote for Donald Trump in the last election.

To me, people killed in senseless conflicts at home on January 6th is the worst betrayal of our democracy and our standing as a beacon of freedom. Trump did NOT oppose this,he in fact, encouraged it. People who buy into the lies told by Trump should step back & need proof & then think about what's really important to them.

If it is "increasingly clear" that votes were taken due to mail in ballots why cannot anyone show proof of this to all of us once & for all?
It didn't happen on the scale that would have changed the outcome of the election.

Not one person died from direct interaction with a protester or rioter.

Trump did not encourage anyone to breech the Capitol.

There are probably more of these types of Republicans than we know.

He's pointless.

Oh really. Then what did the policeman die of? The one beat over the head by rioters??? Did you miss that or are you going to find a nonsensical excuse?

The police officer, Sicknick, died of fumes inhalation, it is now being reported, rather than blunt force to the head which was originally claimed.

It is thought he inhaled pepper spray or some other chemical.

The story that a Trump supporter brained him with a fire extinguisher is completely false.

While Officer Sicknick's death is unfortunate, and is possibly due to the happenings at the Capitol, the claim that he was beaten over the head by rioters is erroneous.

Whereas, an unarmed young woman who was an Air Force veteran was indeed shot dead by a Capitol police officer, murdered in cold blood for unclear reasons. The only thing that seems certain is that she had trespassed into the building along with a group of others.

Also, three people died of heart attacks or similar natural cause.

The vitriol spewed by the left wing media about the protests does not match the very little violence that occurred that day, except for the violence caused by instigators including at least one antifa guy and an unknown (probably antifa) person or group that planted pipe bombs.

An insurrection means "an act of revolting against civil authority" which might be technically correct but it's not even clear that any of the Trump supporters were involved in violence. There were definitely non-Trump supporters there, decked out in MAGA hats and all, but egging other people on, smashing a window and trying to urge others to do same (and a crowd of real Trump supporters pulled one of them down) - this is captured on many videos.

Now contrast this "insurrection" which was really a tiny handful of violent agitators and a larger crowd of peaceful protesters, with the massive violence that has been happening all during 2020. Buildings have been burned down, shops looted, cars smashed including patrol cars, police assaulted, weapons fired at innocent people including that 8-year-old girl shot to death in Atlanta after that guy was shot by cops for grabbing a taser. Some 30 people died, mostly black, and billions of dollars of damage.

These riots are ongoing in Portland and Seattle, where organized leftist mobs have declared no-go zones, have engaged in horrendous violence, and have declared that the United States government and all corporations must be destroyed.

Yet, the Democrat mayors have refused to act against this blatant violence and lawlessness, out of fear of being called "racist" (and out of fear of a mob of antifa descending on their homes and terrorizing their families).

Meanwhile, to cover for their incompetence, the Democrats declared Jan. 6 a "violent insurrection", constructed barbed wire fencing and stationed thousands of National Guard around the Capitol (after refusing to do so at President Trump's request), and staged a show trial of Trump based on doctored audio.

The left wing Big Tech companies compliantly silenced anyone who objected or disagreed with any of this.

You people naively believing the Democrat and Big Tech propaganda, you don't realize one thing -- after they're done with us, they're coming after you. Unless you are good little sheep, saying and doing as you're told.
