The lockdowns don't work, clear evidence of that.
Most people simply aren't going to wear double or tripple masks -- single mask wearing isn't effective.
But the one thing we can actually prevent is other infected people coming into our country -- and Joe Biden thinks it's a great idea to let millions come on in during a pandemic and while tens of millions are out of work. What an idiot!
You can blame the 81 million (supposedly) people who voted for him, for this.
It was plain to see to anyone paying attention that Trump would keep the border closed as much as possible, and sleepy Joe would open it to all of those "dreamers".

I agree the two can't really be harmonized. How about open up with mask mandates and some social distancing, and have normal immigration stopping ALL illegal immigration.
A spokesperson said in an email that CBP personnel conduct initial inspections for symptoms or risk factors associated with Covid-19 and consult as appropriate with onsite medical personnel, the CDC or local health systems.
Suspected Covid-19 cases "are referred to local health systems for appropriate testing, diagnosis, and treatment," according to CBP.

And making bogus asylum seekers wait in Mexico again instead of allowing them into our country until their cases can be heard.
