When Biden and his brain has one of those "good days"... But they are becoming few and far between. We could be waiting well into the fall for the SOTU... For all intents and purposes, Trump delivered an adequate, accurate and informative informal SOTU on Sunday. So perhaps Biden and his handlers will spare America the cringe worthy gaffes and just skip it all together.

This must not be one of your “ good days” otherwise you might have recalled presidents don’t give a SOTU address during their first year in office.
Between John Adams and Woodrow Wilson, nobody did an in-person SOTU address at all. That was 113 years.
Woodron Wilson's presidential term ended in 1921. The first radio US commercial radio broadcasting licenses were granted in 1920. Television audiences came decades later.
There was no reason to deliver an in-person SOTU address before 1920 as the audience would have been limited to those in the Capitol chambers.
