I should also add that it is my opinion that the OP is out of touch with reality.

Thus, you just mocked me for my opinion.

And in turn, that means you are guilty of the very same thing you just mocked me for.

I suppose it is, but if one does hold such an opinion, that goes to show how out of touch with reality they are.
Sure is. Just like having an opinion that the earth is going to spontaneously combust in five years because of climate change. Opinions may or may not reflect reality, but we must be free to hold them rather than having them forced upon us by the equivalent of the Spanish Inquisition or the Puritan witch hunters.

Not at all. You are free to hold any opinion you like. It's when opinions are silenced or threats are levied because of them that it becomes a problem. And the left is all too efficient at doing just that. I may not agree with you or I may even be vehemently opposed, but you'll never hear me telling you that you can't hold an opinion. The converse is not true when dealing with the left.

Now you are telling me I cannot hold the opinion that the OP is out of touch with reality.

You are now your own worst enemy.

Spread out across nearly 200 countries, the difference is somewhat mitigated. If that population were concentrated in a singular location, then it would be very problematic. That is of course also based off of the assumption that every one of those couples will have 2 kids. It would probably be far less as there are plenty of people who choose not to have kids.

There must be some sort of a comprehension problem on your part. I said no such thing.

Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I don't disagree with everything they do in Asia or even China.

There is a ton of subjectivity in psychiatry. The diagnoses are constantly changing and being updated. The authors of the most recent DSM had to sign confidentiality agreements. There’s a lot of shadiness in the profession. Is gayness a mental illness? I suppose it depends on who you ask and who writes the dsm, and what version you use.

Well it's the same country that wants to swab your anus for COVID-19, so yes, maybe there's some cultural inhibition at work.

There is no such thing as mental illness;

Quote:
Cultural norms and social expectations also play a role in defining mental health disorders. There is no standard measure across cultures to determine whether a behavior is normal or when it becomes disruptive. What might be normal in one society may be a cause for concern in another.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-l...h/art-20044098

What does that tell you? Psychiatry is a method of social control, not a field of medicine.
