“ A Virginia county planning commission will vote Wednesday on restrictions that would ban residents from flying American flags larger than six feet by four feet and from displaying more than two flags.”
The restrictions pertain to size and number.
Nothing about which flag one can fly.
Same deal with thousands of HOAs all across the country.
I do not think you realize how stupid your comment sounds.
If you look over Kristina'sCap's past posts, she is very often not serious in what she writes. She "baited" me into replying many times before I realized that. (I admit I am often gullible.) She often writes outrageous things in order to make a point, I think.
(Kristina, please correct me if I am mistaken about any of that.)
Thousands of localities have regulations regarding size, number, etc.
For example, in Colorado:
“ The association may adopt reasonable rules regarding the placement and manner of display of the American flag. The association rules may regulate the location and size of flags and flagpoles, but shall not prohibit the installation of a flag or flagpole.”
I'm not on the left and even I know that's not a thing.
There’s a Lenin statue out in Seattle that was erected and cared for while statues of our founding fathers are torn down. We are not that far off from it. Just be patient.

The Virginia planning commission, as I understand it, is basing their decision on the fact that the courts have ruled that flags are a free speech issue. So by limiting the size wouldn't that be the same as limiting speech? I haven't finished my coffee so I could be wrong.
