Wouldn’t he get hire priority based on his condition?
He wouldn't get priority over everyone else with similarly serious diagnoses. Again, 68% of Canadians do not believe Canada’s health care system treats patients in a timely manner.

Regardless, it is just ONE poll one what very subjective aspect of healthcare. Some people think waiting 15 minutes in Emergency is too long.
When asked about the system in general, the numbers are more aligned to the link I provided, over 80 percent in some polls, and in the 90 percent range in others.
Your attempt is failing.
I KNOW of what I speak since I live here and have personal knowledge of our system, and YOU do not.
I think I will just leave it at that for now, since it's obvious you are purposely being obtuse on several fronts.

"The health-care system has been forced to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic, but it appears quite a few people still have confidence in it, according to a poll.
More than three-quarters of 1,000 people polled nationally by Research Co. say they would be very confident or moderately confident the system would be there for them if they had an unexpected medical problem.
“Even in the midst of the pandemic and all of the questions that we have about the health-care system and medical services in the country, we still see a large number of Canadians who have confidence in the systems itself,” says Mario Canseco, Research Co. president."

Except all those with the same serious diagnoses do get care at the same time.
Trust me, I know.
My mother was never told she had to wait because someone with the exact same condition and prognosis was ahead of her.
Same with other friends and family who had serious cancer issues.

I'm sorry, but when a poll indicates that 2/3 of the country think that national health care wait times are too long, there's a significant problem.

"Long wait times have become a defining characteristic of the Canadian health care system. In 2016, the Commonwealth Fund ranked Canada last among 11 countries surveyed on wait times for specialist care."
Canadians find this Democrat vs Republican nonsense fascinating. The idea that because of ones politic affiliation makes them lazy, or have a certain work ethic is just plain crazy.
