Biden's a dumbass. The masks do nothing but its all a control thing. He's also pushing the vaccines and they're not going to do much good. Just the opposite, probably.

No vaccine is 100% effective. And until more of us are vaccinated it means the virus is still spreading.

Vaccines can provide two levels of protection. The measles vaccine prevents viruses from causing infection, so vaccinated people don’t spread the infection or develop symptoms.
Most other vaccines — including flu shots — prevent people from becoming sick but not from becoming infected or passing the virus to others, said Dr. Paul Offit,

Masks protect against any strain of the coronavirus, in spite of genetic mutations.

It does seem the same silly 'experts' who denied science and told us to shut the k-12 schools, completely empty the outdoor stadiums and beaches, wear gloves while grocery shopping, and furiously scrub all delivered packages are at it again with the masks.

Somehow they duped Joe into wearing one - - now he's unknowingly spreading the anti-vaxx message that the vaccine is useless against Covid.

Somebody tell Joe that he has been vaccinated (even if he forgot both jabs and needs to be shown the picture), remind him he is the president of the US, and tell him there is now no scientific reason to think he'll spread Covid.
The recommendation is to still wear masks even after the vaccine.

The fact that the president is willing to wear a mask to potentially protect other people...such a novel and weird concept to care about others' well-being, right?
Won’t he always be traveling and meeting lots of people (in theory)?

And no vaccine is 100%.

So Joe will mask and double mask forever?

This makes sense?

If you folks are truly curious as to why someone still wears a mask -- you can search the internet for all kinds of information.

If you are just trying to make some political point -- then go ahead express your feelings......but just recognize they are your feelings.

And of course the President is making a point by wearing a mask.

Most of us will not be vaccinated for one time. He is setting an example.

It could be partly a gesture. If it makes one person sneezing, and coughing -- think about wearing a mask when they go to the grocery store -- worth it.

Why? He was vaccinated 10 weeks ago. I thought the Pfizer vaccine was safe and effective?

Is this like the recommendation to grocery shop in gloves and scrub all delivered packages?

The second vaccine was 7 weeks ago. You might check your sources.

Explain the complicated science of face coverings (as distinguished from N95 masks) since some of us think they may protect others if you are infected.

Joe was vaccinated 10 weeks ago.

Hey -- 7 weeks.

And lots of information on line to explain to you. Some of it included in this thread.

(and pointing out that your 10 weeks is wrong is to show you that where ever you are sourcing your information it is clear it is not accurate and that you might have to rethink your sources).

Dr Been explains that even after vaccination (14 days to be fully effiective) it takes 24 hours for your immune memory to start fighting the virus if you get infected. The vaccine does not stop you from getting infected:
