I get the inkling that she married into it for what she would get, including the attention.
I think she liked Harry well enough and probably even loved him. Who wouldn’t? It would be exciting to be with a real live prince. You know he’s had quite the interesting life. But most Americans think it’s going to be like Cinderella rather than crushing obligations and tabloid press and a queen that expects everyone to behave a certain way. It would be awful.
Who cares what these crashing twitwads have to say. I don't get why Americans have any care in the world about the intrigue and soap operas of the royal family.
I think they're pretty interesting, mainly because they've been so influential in the way Britain and the larger world have developed over the past 500 years. They are, at the same time, both laughable and admirable.
Whaddya call the Katrashians? Or, heck, the Kennedys?
Does the US government pay all members of either one of those families to live in literal palaces? Do they get to hold important government offices without being elected?
They didn't come out and say that but they said there was a conversation about his skin color. You can take that any way you want. I could have a conversation with a couple about what color the baby's hair would be or what color the eyes would be. So it's not necessarily racist. Harry said Meghan was treated really well at the start and there was nothing racist. Meghan said the Queen was wonderful to her. So it may have simply been an innocent question about wondering what the baby would look like. Or not.
That’s how I would take it, but then Meghan seems to be a little over her head and sensitive to her differences and the tabloids. And maybe some of the people surrounding the immediate family are snobs so there would be stress there, but I bet the immediate family probably was just talking about it like you said.

They said it was because their security protection was taken away and they were offered a place to live and the owner would also pay for security in CA. But iirc, Prince Charles was paying the security when they were in Canada and I didn't know he had stopped. Maybe he did stop paying for it but I never heard that.
I think you're correct. I don't think it was the Queen who was concerned because she and Meghan got along famously. I bet it was the brother, William, or possibly Prince Charles. But William was the one who told Harry to wait longer before getting married.
Maybe William just didn’t like Meghan. How many people marry someone their siblings aren’t all that fond of? It happens all the time.
Meghan is Harry's beard most likely.....his "playboy" image always looked fake and choreographed.....similar to that tennis player Nick Kyrgios who goes out of his way to tell the media how much he "likes girls" (while he cries when talking about one of the male tennis players whom he's always seen with).
