If you are single and childless, you will receive $ 1400 under the Rescue Act. A family of four would receive $ 11,600 ( I have included the child tax credits in this calculation); more if the children are under 6.
I know raising kids is expensive. But this variance seems a bit out of proportion. 12K is a down payment on a house. $ 1400 covers one month of rent in a metro area.
Did I miscalculate? What are your thoughts on this?
I am happy a portion of the suffering are getting supplicated. I am unhappy that this bill was not more targeted.
In most cases, having children is a choice.
Yes, single childless people (who chose not to have children out of financial responsibility, population responsibility, because they can not have children etc.) are not getting adequate supplication (if they lost job and / significant cut hours) compared too those who have multiple children (who lost neither job nor hours) who are getting over supplicated.
People who have large families (especially those who did not lose jobs or hours) are going to get almost half the amount of a new small car, big projects such as solar panels installed on home in full, large lavish vacations in some cases.

I would like a system where people who don't have kids can't benefit from collecting social security after retirement. Yes I know you pay social security taxes but those are used to pay the retirees now. Kids will pay your social security payments. No kids, no payment.
The entire middle class is getting the shaft and stuck with tax bill. Most families make more than the $80k a year and wont receive a penny, Federal employees receive $21k each, business owners get tens of thousands in payouts in "forgivable loans", a lot of special interest receive grants, muslims in Egypt and Palestine receive money. The regular man or woman with a full time job, a mortgage and bills receive nothing and will be the ones paying for this.
Really? Meanwhile in reality most families earn less then that. median family income is 68,703.
The median is not a fair representative number. It counts retirees who have not been adversely effected with their jobs, and young people who are just starting their first few years of their career. The true median income for working families is well over $100k+.

People begging for their own money back..... and get crumbs, while they pocket the rest in kickbacks
The Mafia had better relations with the community.

If you can't afford kids, then don't have any. So many have kids knowing the government (i.e. you and I) will help pay for them. This encourages them to have even more.
I simply hate the people in the white house now. They are making awful decisions.
