I just had a discussion with a neighbor today where she claimed that Biden should get full credit for the vaccines because, according to her, President Trump cancelled the vaccine order. I haven't been able to find anything on that other than he didn't take an option to purchase more in early December (although he did purchase more in late December).

Biden shouldn't get full credit for the vaccines. It's not as simple as saying "meh Trump didn't buy as many as Biden" because Trump administration was making some of these decisions without really knowing they'd work or be approved.

I'd give Biden more credit for ramping up the vaccine distribution so quickly, and for publicly taking the vaccine like Bush/Clinton/Obama/Carter instead of doing it secretly for political reasons like Trump.
