Did you just hear the name Tucker and made up your mind?

I literally can't stand Rachael Maddow, but every time someone says that she said something that annoyed me I go and check before I post about it.
I have and I’m not a fan of Maddow. I am apparently not the only female on the planet upset with TC

Let's not forget.... In 1948, women were officially recognized as full members of the armed forces. The sentiment was no different than TC's comments... that women in the military would be a mockery of the US military.

The US military survived/evolved.
The US military adopted new hair regulations for women.
The US military adopted new uniforms for women.
The US military was just as strong if not stronger with service women.
The US military wasn't "mocked".

Recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan proved that.

So what part exactly upset you? He was saying how the Chinese are basically pulling ahead with their Navy and we're worried about Flight suits for women that are pregnant.

It just seems that for the military to be leading with hair style for women and flight suits, while they have merit and a purpose just doesn't seem like what the primary focus should be on. It just sorta seems like we're missing the bigger point here. We're worried about things that again, have some merit, shouldn't be as front and center as it is.

He's making that point, he wasn't crapping on women in the military, he wasn't being misogynistic or downplaying the role of women.

He's pointing out that China doesn't do this sort of thing, unlike us.

Ailes repackaged Richard Nixon for television in 1968, papered over Ronald Reagan’s budding Alzheimer’s in 1984, shamelessly stoked racial fears to elect George H.W. Bush in 1988, and waged a secret campaign on behalf of Big Tobacco to derail health care reform in 1993.

Hillarycare was to have been funded, in part, by a $1-a-pack tax on cigarettes. To block the proposal, Big Tobacco paid Ailes to produce ads highlighting “real people affected by taxes.”

Your post brings to mind a quote attributed to Mark Twain: "It's easier to fool people, than to convince them that they have been fooled."

Fox news own attorneys' defense for lawsuits against Tucker Carlson is that he lies!

Quote:
The Court concludes that the statements are rhetorical hyperbole and opinion commentary intended to frame a political debate, and, as such, are not actionable as defamation.
https://law.justia.com/cases/federal...161/527808/39/

Want facts? Not going to get them from Tucker, a millionaire paid by billionaires to lie to you.
