Because the left doesn't give a pass just because of who he is unlike the far right and everyone does not march in lock-step unison to the same music like the faithful....
because he's been exposed for using his power to seduce women..probably been doing it forever..this isn't a left or right issue..this is an abuse of power issue..I'll give him 2 more weeks before he finally steps down..

The interesting thing is the left and MSM seem to be largely ignoring his deadly nursing home policy and the lies he used to cover up the truth.
My governor who had the worst nursing home policy, kept it a full 2 months after every state had stopped. And just like Cuomo her numbers don't add up. State senators have been complaining since at least April of 2020 that her policy was deadly and she wasn't reporting numbers properly.
Whitmer is in a glass house and throwing stones at Cuomo for the harassment and ignoring his lies on the numbers of nursing home deaths.
Makes me wonder if she wants him removed for harassment so the nursing home policy story dies and people don't look at her own scandal.

Pure political opportunism. The king is wounded and they see an opportunity to take him down and advance their own positions.
We all know it's not because any of them actually CARE about the allegations, or believe in any way connected with morals that he needs to be held accountable. This is raw, political theater. I actually believe that the Republicans in the NY legislature need to en mass, abstain from voting on this matter. There is no upside to them participating.
Actually just about every major news outlet other than fox news has been ignoring the stories against Cuomo so far. DeBlasio speaking out the other day was really the first case of someone on the left saying anything
