The problem for Biden is that the pandemic is ending too soon. It will be tough for him to actually get credit for defeating the virus if it does not stick around till, oh, say, July 4.
But he does try.....
And yet, these so called "experts," are making declarative statements as if they were scientific fact. Our gullible, or complicit and lying political leaders hear the "experts" and create mandates about what we should and should not do, claiming it's based on science, when it's just an educated guess by bureaucrats who love to be in the TV spot light.
Biden says that even after we receive the complete vaccination process, he has a list of things we can and cannot do. And if we are really good little boys and girls, and convince all of our friends and family to also get fully vaccinated, he might allow us to celebrate a backyard BBQ on July 4th.
In Oct 2019 the W.H.O. released a detailed, decades long study citing the ineffectiveness of wearing masks to prevent respiratory viruses. But Fauci and other bureaucrats and politicians lie to us by claiming the opposite is true. Then Fauci says "it just makes sense that wearing two [ineffective] masks" might offer better protection. Of course this was after he lied and or misled the country by saying that we should not be walking around wearing masks, only to say later that we should. All the while he knows that wearing those cloth and paper masks will do little to nothing to protect healthy people from becoming infected by COVID.
COVID is a respiratory virus, so all of the commonalities with any and all other viruses like it remain true. So no, the basic scientific facts of respiratory virus do not magically change on the fly.
I am curious. What do you think is the intended function is of a mask worn into a store?
Because they're all insulated from this. Either rich elite or government workers. Talk to small business owners and workers whose lives have been ruined, maybe permanently.
Agreed, these politicians don't own a local small business. They feel no remorse or pity if businesses are bankrupted, because the politicians are forcing these small businesses to close, sending all their customers to Walmart, Menards, Amazon, McDonalds, or Food Lion

Biden doesn't say three feet -- Fauci does.
And I have a different perception.
I'm seeing way more people having access to vaccinations, more good news for summer travel, etc.
He’s going by what the CDC is now saying. Interesting how when Trump was president they insisted on six feet, but now that Biden is president, they’ve all of a sudden figured out that three feet away is enough to stop germs from spreading - and schools can open.
The purpose is to appease the mob. Nothing more, nothing less.
I think the reason they mandate masks be worn by everyone, is because if they told the truth, which is that wearing a mask cannot protect a healthy person from breathing in the virus, then a lot of people would panic.
There are people who are either hypochondriacs, or are simply legitimately concerned about COVID because they are in a high risk category. These people go out in public with a mask, because they have been told that they will be protected from the virus. If they were suddenly informed that that silly cloth or paper face covering was not protecting them, that the mask was incapable of filtering out this tiny airborne virus... some might freak out and lock themselves away in their homes.
Instead, they are lied to, told that wearing a mask protects them, and they go about their lives in ignorance. Just tell people the truth. If they understand that masks will not protect the uninfected person, they will alter their behavior in a logical and commonsense manner, to avoid placing themselves in the position of risking infection.
Six feet is arbitrary, so is three feet. It’s all made up.
