What happens in capitalism if you stop producing. You die. Same with slavery. At their root there is very little difference.
We keep pointing out that if you dont like it here you should leave. Stop being a slave, go to a country without taxes. You keep screaming slavery DESPITE being able to leave.
If I stop working, I lose everything I own, and end up homeless. If I do not work, when I was younger I would lose my children.
Tying medical care to your employment? Yeah. Thats been great. People stay at jobs out of fear of losing their medical insurance.
Slavery is voluntary....if you refuse you can be killed, or tortured. But you have a choice RIGHT there.
Capitalism is JUST as voluntary. Work or you can die, or suffer.

Nope. SS benefits aren't taxed unless one earns other income (such as wages, self-employment, interest, dividends, and other taxable income that must be reported on a tax return) beyond a certain amount. Those who have no such other income don't even have to file a US 1040.
What's confusing you is that those who don't file aren't included in the statistics that 45% (likely more now) of all US 1040 filers pay no federal income tax.

1) Just like a leftist, you accused me of being racist because I think everyone should have some modest skin in the game. I think it’s safe to assume that since the majority of the country is white, the majority of non-payers are low-income whites.
2) I told you before that seniors are NOT the most likely not to pay tax. People over 65 represent 16% of the population, and approximately half of them have enough income outside SS to pay tax. IOW, only 8% of the 48% who pay nothing are elderly; the remainder are working age.

No one cares about the freeloaders' race. Everyone should pay, regardless. That's why I advocate a consumption tax only. It's self-leveling. If you can't afford to buy much, you won't be taxed much.

You are being obtuse. Let SS be exempt. I'm sure many "right wingers" as you say would support that. However, the ~40% of working people that pay nothing in federal income taxes need to start paying something. Heck, how do you think the Left's holy grail society of Sweden, Denmark, etc pay for things? They collect from EVERONE, doesn't matter how much or LITTLE you make. The current socialist tax system we have in the US in unsustainable. We need everyone to contribute something.
