If you have any dental teaching schools in the area, they will often do the work for free or close to it and done with expert supervision.

I have a family member or two that does that since it's not covered by medicare and they love it.

Also, a number of students graduating from dental school will PAY you as part of their final project, again fully supervised.

It will almost pay the insurance deductible to get my house fixed from the water damage caused by the winter storm in Texas last month.

Me:

1) I gave the first $600 -last December - to a needy single mother with three children
2) I plan to treat myself to a $300 pair of ADL shoes (hey, after the year we’ve been through, I deserve a splurge!)
3) I plan to donate $360 in my father’s memory to a charity important to him on his yartzheit in June
4) I plan to put the remainder in my Fidelity money market account

I feel this is well balanced - some to help others, some for me to enjoy, the rest to savings. You?
Help to buy land (part of the cost) for investment and pay off hospital bills.

Copay for upcoming surgery. With insurance an endoscopy was $700 out of pocket - ridiculous but what can I do. Retired so the stim is welcomed.

I'm one of the blessed who has not been financially affected by the virus since I'm retired and have the means to support myself for the rest of my life.

This check will go to the same place the others went - to people who have been affected by job losses. We have several groups in the area that are feeding families in need during this time. Part will go to them. There is also the local tri-county orphan relief fund that a woman in the neighborhood collects for. Their donations have been down so much this past year so some will go to them as well. Last I talked to her, they had over 4500 kids they took care of from infant to about 17 years old.

I will believe I'm getting it when I see it in my balance. I expect more stagflation, so an occasional handout won't cover the cost of living in a broken and broke nation.

Gettin' nuthin - 2020 was a good year on the personal income side, and that's about the only good thing I have to say about that - but certainly won't begrudge those who do. Get that economy humming, guys.
