I can't agree with your deductive process, but as for this bit, well - there's a process for that. It involves voting. Not living out half-baked militia fantasies when the vote doesn't go one's preferred way.

Welp, your tax dollars at work. Turns out making DC look like a war zone was just a waste of money.

How sad that progressives couldn't get the "DC invasion" they were hoping for, even going so far as to fabricate new dates of "high alert."

Can you point out WHERE in the cited article it's stated "there was never a militia threat" as the thread title alleges? I can't seem to find it.

Capitol Police Increase Security Following Threat
March 3, 2021 Press Release
The United States Capitol Police Department is aware of and prepared for any potential threats towards members of Congress or towards the Capitol complex. We have obtained intelligence that shows a possible plot to breach the Capitol by an identified militia group on Thursday, March 4. We have already made significant security upgrades to include establishing a physical structure and increasing manpower to ensure the protection of Congress, the public and our police officers.

Our Department is working with our local, state, and federal partners to stop any threats to the Capitol. We are taking the intelligence seriously. Due to the sensitive nature of this information, we cannot provide additional details at this time.
Are the Capitol Police lying? Are they now part of the Deep State? For those keeping score.

Reading comprehension is a lost art obviously.

Their declared purpose was to stop the peaceful transition of power. It was a ludicrously inept attempt at stopping the peaceful transition of power, but even clumsy bank robbers go to prison.
It was a protest. To support the congressmen that objected, which has been done before, and is not illegal.

But fake news thrives, the thread title being a fine example.

Nothing here smacks to me of some grand conspiracy to normalize martial law kinda stuff, or whatever it is you folks said.

Not everything has to be some grand conspiracy.

Republicans are of late sounding as wack as some of the lefty woke racial stuff. Look at yourselves.

Well Rocko, I too am a conservative, but you do our movement no good whatsoever by posting a lie as the title of this thread. You might want to look out for that going forward.

Please.

I'd say more wack than many. They may speak of a Democratic 'squad', seems the GOP has more of a battalion.
