Reagan wasn’t insane....

The arguments with him were about policies he implemented. Conservatives perhaps like those, I don’t. But he wasn’t unhinged.

Yep, NO one hated this country as much as Obama, and his Pastor of 20 years Reverand Wright, or his NOI secret friends, who hated Obama's Momma, just because she's White.

Who the Heck secretly meets and empowers some one who hates their own mother? Borok Obama

If Reagan ran for president today he would labelled a RINO, called too soft and he'd lose in the primaries. The Republican party has gone full authoritarian neo-fascist and is the party of Reagan no more.

Yeah, his political future would be doa simply with his "there's no reason why on the street today a citizen should be carrying loaded weapons" quote alone.

Pretty good company, I'd say.
I thought after Covid19 and Ukraine he could do no worse and along came Jan 6, thank god he is gone.

Nonsense! -- Barry Goldwater followed the same path sixteen years before Reagan. and was voted down -- with an assist from Lyndon Johnson and Hubert Humphrey's fear-and-smear tactics.

"They told me if I voted Republican, we'd have half a million troops in Vietnam, and rioting in the streets; I voted Republican, and they were right'"

(Apocryphal saying c.1968)
