And you CAN talk about this in a political way about both sides. Not so much Biden yet-but again...less then 2 months in. But you can also point to things the Democrats did, so lets try actually talking about that vs the riot nonsense yall seem intent on going on about.

For example, the loss of norms that Duncan talks about? He said the exact same thing BEFORE Trump was president. But certainly we can point to a lot of things Trump did there. But also Obama. DACA for example.

How do we avoid repeating history here?
With all due respect.

Anyone who believes our country can be saved is a fool.

Anyone who doesn't try isn't a patriot. Because honestly? People have been saying that for centuries. We're still here. And I hope we will be in the future.

Greywar- thank you for posting the article. I did finally read it. It does give a view from a 'history, repeats itself'.

To the poster who mentioned experts- let's be very transparent: oath keepers and proud boys are not experts. Anarchist yes. Experts no. I'd highly suggest choosing better experts to bring civility.

Says the dude whose only comment on the article was "We've just seen the start of this, Trump and the Republicans have paved the way."

Correct. Stupid leftists who could not see the future consequences of burning down cities, and then having the media brush it off as peaceful protests.

That side planted the seeds.

It is amazing the amount of non self awareness from these demented leftists.

While they outright ignore the burning down and total destruction of neighborhoods NOW they are crying out about some phantom menace of MAGA STORMTROOPERS that only exist in their subverted scrambled eggs for brains.

The hypocrisy, along with the willing oblivion to REAL circumstances and actual events, is astounding to behold. They call conservatives a CULT in an EPIC example of PROJECTION; it's almost like a parody worthy of the Onion or Babylon Bee, but they believe all this as REALITY.

I don't call them demented avenger subverted demoralized zombies for nothing; they PROVE that status EVERY DAY!

Shut up and take a prozac, wussies!

I've said it before...the left had a monopoly on protests and rioting for many years, and you could see they were deeply offended when the Tea Party protests started up and will remain so any time the right takes to the streets.

Of course the literally hundreds of leftists riots/insurrections were not a start to anything, that is mostly peaceful protests, because Duncan is objectively left.

We might not want to read the auricle because it’s on a far-left rag. We feel about Vice the way you feel about Breitbart.

Yeah, and I get that. Vice does do a lot of solid reporting though as well though, and Id argue this is worth it as its more about what Duncan has said then anything too biased.

As its a interview-its not like I could go elsewhere for a link for folks.
