some/many.

heck, the liberal empathy of "if only we'd do more" doesn't apply to the bebop's of the world. His is more of a "I empathize with you when you hate Republicans as much as I do."

taking exception to being labeled "less intelligent" and "not empathetic" because of political affiliation doesn't require deep thinking, nor does it make one insecure.

what is true equality, in your opinion?

how are Blacks (or any of the theoretically-oppressed groups) subjugated today?

by the way, there are several in the Social Democrats who absolutely believe in "down with the Bourgeoisie and ruling class".

indeed it does.

harken back to approximately May 31. Pretty much "all Americans" were horrified and disgusted what a group of cops did to a Black man that led to his death.

And then wholesale "white racism/guilt", ACAB, destructive protests outside Minneapolis, and all manners of "pitting groups against each other" occurred.

Who did the vast majority of that pitting?

What exactly are you claiming is being "torn down"?
while I'm sure that you'll answer the other questions too, what are these policies that have discriminatory effects against minorities?

This must be that "empathy" thing that liberals are so good at, at least according to another poster in this thread.

I'd think empathy is not an appropriate reaction to many situations.

And I never said it is.

empathy is NOT based on intelligence. Hold a college degree doesn't make one intelligent either. Anyone can walk out of a college with a degree and claim to be intelligent from being brain washed by their professors. You're right I can't understand the so called 'empathy' from you left wingers. I don't actually call it empathy but collective thought pushed onto you because you cannot think for yourselves. You have to subscribe to this group thought to be part of the bigger group and the need to be accepted. So much for learning critical thinking.

This is exhibit A of what I'm talking about.

Empathy is absolutely related to intelligence. The same way having big bicep salso means you have strong quadriceps. Muscles or brains, you can't just build one area without other parts also growing with it too.

The poster basically said he cannot understand empathy.

And I don't expect him to. Not all people do.

I really do try not to generalize very much, but I would say that white liberals are, in general, some of the most smug and self-righteous (and hypocritical) people I know -- and my OPINION of this is only strengthened when I read posts like yours. (And, just btw, I am actually far from stupid.)

Please consider adding the following phrases to your vocabulary: "some people", "a few people", "generally speaking", "my opinion", "in my experience", and many other phrases, also.

There are always exceptions that prove the rule.

There was an NBA player who stood 5'3". That doesn't mean any 5'3" man has a snowball chance of making the NBA.

Can you tell the difference?
