I can't understand how anyone, never mind those that the Capitol Police are there to protect, and one died doing so, can be against them.
But, here we are. We have miscreants like Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Matt Gaetz of Florida and Thomas Massie and others of their ilk voting against honoring their protectors.
I guess they figure their "base" will understand. Well, if it does, I think there is a name for it invoked in the 2016 election. Deplorables.
Decency apparently is no longer a virtue with many on the far right. (Most GOP members, at least those who have been around for a long time, are decent humans.)
