I do not know how anyone can be fired for that kind of remark given there is no context. In some contexts I could perhaps understand it. However I would have to use my imagination to come up with one.
There have been over 3400 attacks on Asian Americans in the last year. Something needs to be done. Lot of tone deaf people out there these days. That there is even an option for him being deported shows how some in this country have no clue and everything is a joke. None of it is a joke. Thankfully, people are outraged, as they should be. So poke fun, call names, whatever you need to do to help you process the fact that this country is changing and hopefully for the better.
in totality, proving moron-level thinking. that's less than 0.2% of Asians, and probably 1/2 of that.
