Trump family looking to turn Doral resort into a casino. How long would it take it to go belly up?

Eric Trump, the son of former President Donald Trump, is pitching an idea to turn the family’s golf resort in Doral into a gambling hub, a proposal that could shake up the always-contentious gaming debate in Florida.

Why do you not hate it when your own does it, like Biden*? You're proving yourself to be a hypocrite. Many of them take pac money and use it for their own purposes. And, btw, it is legal for them to do it, which is why so many do it. Is it right? Nope. But so many do it but you only care when a certain one, out of the many, does it.

Where does it say they are currently looking to turn Doral into a casino????
Maybe they are, but they hadn't said anything publicly. Do you have an inside scoop that no one else has?

The proposal would allow gambling licenses to be transferred to properties where betting isn’t presently allowed and prohibit local governments from intervening, the Post reported, adding that Eric Trump declined to say whether his company is pushing the plan.

The Trump Organization did not respond to a request for comment Wednesday from the South Florida Sun Sentinel, and it’s unclear the level of interest the former president has in converting the Doral golf course into a gambling destination.

Florida Senate President Wilton Simpson has not spoken with the former president about gaming issues, Simpson’s spokeswoman Katie Betta wrote in an email.

Do your own research and come to your own conclusion. I provided a link that shows that Eric Trump (that's Donald Trump's son and nominal head of the Trump Organization when he's not pleading the 5th Amendment) is looking into the possibility.

LOL. Meaning^, you got nothing but spin.

The original story was in WaPo. WaPo most likely contacted Eric for a comment on the proposal, and likely about their golf course being turned into a casino. Eric responded and did tell WaPo that Doral would be a "natural choice"(and it likely is), but not much else. Certainly not enough for you or your media to make the claims you are making. In fact WaPo also says "He [Eric] declined to say whether the company was pushing for the bill.". In Fact, every one else in the WaPo story has not linked the Trump's to the proposal.

There is absolutely nothing in your story, in the WaPo story, or anywhere else, at this particular time that shows what you're trying to push. Maybe someday, or maybe not, the Trump's might finally say, but that hasn't happened at this time. I realize that you have an agenda to push, but try sticking to the facts. give it a try, okay?

Here's another link backing what I said. Don't know why you're arguing over a simple provable point. Weird.

Eric Trump is planning on transforming the family's Doral golf resort in Florida into a huge casino amid push for gambling reforms

And I had linked the original source, WaPo. You know, the one who actually wrote the story that those media sites you're linking are going off of. I had even previously told you that WaPo was the original. Sorry but no where in the WaPo story does it say what you're trying to spin it to be.

When the large donors are backing out, it cannot sustain itself. Trump's LLC's sucking it dry.

From what I found, Biden is not using LLC's to suck money from the PACS, which support Democrat's. Unlike Trump, Trump INC, Trump Family and which are being shown on PAC reports to be taking money through their LLC's.

+1

The need for cash is going to drive as many questionable ideas. Trump Inc. has already shown they cannot run a Casino.

They tried to get the G8 to Doral so they could get it updated on our dime.
Thankfully that one would have been an obvious theft that Trump had to give up on that one.

Personal Use
After all debts are settled, a candidate is not allowed to use the remaining funds for personal uses, which are defined as “a commitment, obligation or expense of any person that would exist irrespective of the candidate’s campaign or responsibilities as a federal officeholder.” In other words, if the expense exists independent of the campaign or being an elected federal official, campaign funds may not be used. Expenses that are automatically considered personal use include household items, mortgage or rent for a personal residence and salary payments to the candidate's family, unless the family member provides a bona fide service to the campaign and the payment reflects the value for the free market.
My notes:
Apparently the commission does keep tabs on funds. Best to research before altering and displaying misinformation.
