Of course neither harris-Biden or congress has any authority to weigh in on energy or modes of transportation. And lets not forget as a collective they are self serving idiots almost to a man/woman. All such decisions should be made in the marketplace unhindered by the influence and meddling of politicians and bureaucrats.
One bright spot is that its becoming increasingly possible that Harris-Biden might collapse the economy before any serious attempt at their schemes can take place.
Fingers crossed.

The govt has suppressed 'power sources' for vehicles for decades now...they have MUCH better technology, the problem is, its intentionally kept secret, (oil and gas industry would be devastated if these technologies ever saw the light of day).

If oil and gas has their way, we will still be using internal combustion power 100 yrs from now! LOL

I'd say most cars will be electric by 2035...Resistance is futile. Think of the money we'll save.

If electricity costs $0.13 per kWh and the vehicle consumes 33 kWh to travel 100 miles, the cost per mile is about $0.04. If electricity costs $0.13 per kilowatt-hour, charging an EV with a 200-mile range (assuming a fully depleted 66 kWh battery) will cost about $9 to reach a full charge.

Why do these people think Electric vehicles is -- horse and buggy?

Do some who create these threads really thing this?
What sights are promoting this?

The world has accepted this and China will be there before us. They have their own electric car manufacturers competing with Elon Musk built in China for China models.

Ya know .... the man who also does rockets to space and planes even more.... So is Elon Musk Eoke now and using -- horse and buggy thinking?

My Father-in-law has a Tesla and paid bucks $$$ for it and luvs it. My first ride and him saying -- watch this. WTF it took-off like a bullet and no hoofs sound.... He is 80 years young and no fool OP.

This all needs no Pres Biden date.... cause it is evolution that will help air quality and oil will still have a future. We get just too much from it to just burn anyway. As a heat source even it may continue longer.

These bait threads do amuse us. OMG. What will they do if Trump got a Tesla to be driven around?
GM and Ford are also on it....

HEY OP... WILL HENRY FORD BE ROLLING IN HIS GRAVE AS FORD SWITCHES OVER....

GEE, IF it's being kept secret, HOW do we know it exists at all?

The 'A 200mpg carburetor exists and is being kept under wraps by the oil industry' story has been around for at least 50 years and is still nonsense unsupported by the laws of physics.

Taxpayers have subsidized the oil and gas industry for decades through tax breaks/credits/depreciations not available to other businesses or individuals. https://www.investopedia.com/article...-tax-break.asp
