The government assigns you a number at birth that is used to track every dollar you make, but wearing a cloth mask to keep people from getting sick is 'controlling people'?

Be serious for a minute.

I couldn't vote because there was not a selection for:

I've never worn a mask and never will.

I don't think this choice will ever be necessary. Eventually we will reach a point where enough people are vaccinated that death rate is very low, and mask mandates will be lifted for everyone including the anti-vaxxers.

You might have trouble doing other things like boarding intl flights but will probably be welcome to mingle maskless and vaccineless here in USA.

Have you left your house since the mandates?

The government forcing you to wear a mask isn’t about keeping you from getting sick. It’s about how much control that you’ll accept without fighting back. Think about it.

I've been to WallyWorld, the barber, Home Depot, Lowes, Sam's, Costco, the DMV three times, the TSA background place, the local college to vote (Walked right past a Sheriff, local PD and campus police), King Soopers, convenience stores and pretty much everywhere else I normally go...

I will concede that in Costco, I wear a clear grinding shield that says: 1984 POLICE STATE COMPLIANT in two inch letters across the top!

I wear them only to play nice with places of business I frequent extra trouble if they require. The government can cause them more trouble or close em than they can cause me personally.

That's one of crazier conspiracy theories I've heard in a while.

Unanswerable question as I don't have a crystal ball. Best answer I can come up with is: as long as necessary.

it is asking the wrong question. The question is how long would I be willing to wear a mask if it means EVERYTHING ELSE returns to normal; full crowds at football games, etc, full crowds at the opera, full crowds at a concert, etc. There answer to that is "awhile".
